The Sebaus Foundation visited MARIA GRATIA PLENA SECONDARY SCHOOL, AWATOR, NIMO to celebrate & reward exceptional, indigent students for their performance in the 2022 school year.
These students all received high-quality backpacks via our Backpacks for Kids Program. The Founder of the Sebaus Foundation was absent but ably represented by Mr. Ibida who presented the gifts to the school Administrators and students.
Education (formal or informal) is the gateway to achieving success and eradicating poverty. In Nigeria, less than 50% of school-aged children are enrolled in school. Of those schools, the majority of them do not have the proper facilities or materials to provide their students with a Grade A education. Sturdy schoolbags are a necessity for students throughout the world, but remain an unaffordable luxury to many.
Our Backpacks For Kids program meets this need by donating strong school bags to needy and/or exceptional students.
