Behold the 1st AZE Winners!

Behold the 1st AZE Winners!

On November 19 2011, my eldest brother Austin “Zero” Eke passed away.

On November 19 2020 under the umbrella of The Sebaus Foundation, the annual AZE Young Poets Contest (YPC) was launched in his honor, to immortalize his passion for fairness, education, youth empowerment and the literary Arts.

Even with 2020 being the first year of its inception, entries were highly competitive. Awareness and submissions will increase as grassroots connections and outreach are strengthened year over year!

Kudos to our AMAZING JUDGES who volunteered their time, intellect and more to select, critique, rate and give in-depth feedback on the rationale behind each poem’s ranking.

I am excited to add that the  BSMSS management is matching the AZE Cash Prize and honoring the 2nd prize winner!
